The Weekly Gimme: Anthropologie Scarab Necklace

$348, Anthropologie
This necklace is so geek-chic. I mean, sure it's vastly overpriced, even if it is a Renard Bijoux. But, it is exactly what I would want to wear on a warm summer's night while wearing a cream maxi dress and cowboy boots.

The Weekly Gimme: Lace Print Pencil Skirt

$118, Anthropologie
I have been an invalid lately, but copious amounts of pharmaceuticals and Tiger Balm are helping me get out of it. I have a sneaking suspicion that these "stress headaches" are caused by not enough shopping, and lo and behold, I felt much better after placing an order during Ann Taylor's 12-hour flash sale.

I like this skirt because it plays into the black-and-white trend of this spring but without being all Moddish and geometric. This seems like a skirt that you can wear for a long time. It would look just as good bare-legged as it would with black tights. It's something that is appropriate for work--but it isn't boring.

In other news, I can't wait for the Friends and Family season to get here. I have my eye on the Marc by Marc Jacobs Classic Q Hillier Tote in a beautiful gray and the Frye Tall Paige boots, also in gray.

The Daily Gimme: Flounced Peplum Tankini

$140, Anthropologie
Finally. With the end of Negotiation Workshop and the "completion" of my fall term paper draft, I have some breathing room. Spring term classes have officially started, and they are a walk in the park compared to Winter term. The only thing that got me through the tough times was the promise of Spring Break in St. Lucia. As such, I've already collected three (THREE!) swimsuits. I would love to add this one to my collection, but the price point is a bit high considering I would probably only wear it for a week every year.

I've never owned a white swimsuit before, mostly because I feel like white + water = peepshow. However, I bet the quality and structuring of Anthro swimsuits would be superb. Anyway, I would probably pass on the plain bottoms and pick something from J. Crew; I like their twist-front bikini bottoms, which are available in white. I like the simplicity of the top, but it's also sufficiently unique. The cut-out at the neckline adds a bit of sexiness, whereas the peplum flounce services to hide a tummy and give a demureness to the whole thing.
